Percil Cecil Booth

Percy Cecil Booth (1893 – 1953)

Carolyn Booth’s Grandfather

Percy is now featured in the “Modern Booths” pages of this blog site and what an amazing story that is developing.  A great man who served his country in the First World War and as a young man fought at the Battle of Fromelles and sadly had to have both feet amputated, apparently showed no signs of his disability and most were unaware of his circumstances. As we have found he was full of pluck and courage. I encourage readers to view the story I have included on the Battle of Fromelles.
